Sometimes referred to as the Hamilton Motorcycle Swapmeet this event would have to be one of the most important on the calendar for those who are restoring, or share an interest in older motorcycles. Advertised as a Swapmeet and Show an Shine it is the only Motorcycle Only swapmeet in New Zealand and is eagerly waited for by many. Even though it has been a little smaller over the last couple of years there always seems to be some happy person walking away with a treasured purchase. The date is a little later this year, in fact it is the same Sunday as the V8 Supercar racing that is also being held in Hamilton so if you are contemplating spending Saturday night locally in a motel for an early start the next day you might be extremely lucky to find any vacancies. The start time has not been advertised but historically it has been 07.30am.
Not sure about Knobsta but I will pop in for a squizz however as I have a shed full of unfinished projects it will have to be something really special to see me blowing the moths out of my purse.
