This article originally appeared in the 1948 August Edition of the NZ Motorcyclist. It would have definitely created comment at the time of publication as New Zealand had had a few female motorcyclists before Mrs Watson however here was a national publication that was clearly saying that yes women can ride motorcycles. It is a good story but as the pages have aged the photos are a little grainy.
