Where: Saturday Rally starting from Murphy’s Law (formerly Jolly Farmer)Drury, South Auckland, Sundays Swapmeet at VCC Clubrooms, 39 Fairfax Ave, Penrose.
When: 13~14th November 2010.
The rally starts with a get together at the VCC Clubrooms on Friday night from 6.30pm. Saturdays rally starting from Murphy’s Law will begin with the riders briefing at 9.30am with the first motorcycle away at 10.00am. The rally is approximately 110 miles with a lunch stop along the way, the run finishing back at the start. Classes are for Veteran, Vintage, Post Vintage (all girders of course), Post War, Post 1960, and combination. You have to be a member of the Vintage Car Club or of the Classic Motorcycle Club. Should be a good event, I have done it a few times and have definitely enjoyed myself. As it covers the rural south roads Knobster and me had better lick our pencil leads and fill out our entry forms now instead of leaving everything to the last minute. Entries close on 3rd November, 2010.
Sundays Swap Meet starting at 9.00am is now held at the clubrooms at 39 Fairfax Ave, Penrose, and even though it has been getting smaller it is still the case if you don’t go you might miss out on that valuable part to get your bike on the road.
