‘Have You Ever Wondered’ should be the title of this small addition to the Barnstormers library. The manual itself consists of all of the usual maintenance and bits to fiddle with just because you have the spanners but the section that we have chosen is of some very interesting drawings of various autocycles and cyclemotors and descriptions of some of their design features. Some makes covered are the Scott, Bantamoto, Cyclemaster, Brockhouse- Excelsior, Velosolex, the French made V.A.P., MiniMoto, Power Pak and Cyclaid.
Perhaps for me it would be the Lohmann, it is only 18cc and unlike the other cyclemotor/autocycle units that are petrol powered with a capacity of between 31cc to 49cc the Lohmann is a 2 stroke that uses pure kerosene and applies the principle of the diesel engine ie high compression, and has no spark plug. More can be read on the Lohmann here – www.icenicam.org.uk/library/Lohmann/Instructions_1951-10.pdf
Not everybodys cup-o-tea as they say but we find the tiddlers interesting at least.

It is a 3M PDF.
