Post WW2 there were a lot of generic publications for the different marques covering models from about 1932 up to about 1948, and Royal Enfield were no different. The only issue was that they covered major servicing which was about 95 percent of the maintenance requirements, but sometimes it was the little bits missed out that had owners guessing on what to do.
This rare 1948 publication is a genuine factory manual that covers all that is the war department 350cc OHV WD/CO. And for post war 350cc Model G OHV owners the only difference being that they had the newly introduced telescopic front forks from 1946, and not the girder forks. This manual also includes the WD/CO/B model which has the Burman gearbox fitted. A well illustrated section for owners of both Royal Enfield and other marques that were fitted with this gearbox.
