1927 Humber Sales Catalogue

By 1931 Humber Motorcycles had gone, with the parent company deciding to concentrate completely on car production. Such a shame as their motorcycles certainly had style. The attractiveness of the 1927 models with their long sleek shape of the petrol tank surely would be appealing compared to a lot of other marques from that year.
This sales catalogue covers the 1927 349hp (cc) O.H.V models in both Sports and Tourist guise and same for the side valve models. Not a big manufacturer with only the 349cc machines available, no 500cc or big V twin models that other manufacturers had on offer. A bit of a sales folly? Would it have made a difference to the life of Humber? However management had made the decision.
